Mike made a good point with something he said in his post.. If you have a question about a coin do a little research, if nothing else it will help you ask a question that WILL get noticed. Use the "experts" time as you call them wisely.

Want an expert on an error coin? Describe the coin in question and direct it to the right people. Got a question about milking a cow.. ask a farmer..

Lehigh states that most threads and coins are dreck and that's holding the "experts" away. Sorry, I disagree with that statement 100%. You simply have to wade though the threads and find on that has an interest to you. See a thread you want to read, READ IT.. see one that does not interest you? ie.. whats this coin worth... just skip it.. I keep seeing people here posting a +1 and nothing else.. What the heck is that all about? what a waste of time.. just trying to get your post count up? If you don't have something useful to say or useful to add to a thread, put another spoon of potatoes in your trap and move on to the next thread.

I recently had a conversation with an "expert" about coin forums and ask this person why they didnt spend time in them answering questions. ANSWER.. "I don't have the time NOR the desire to answer a question about a very basic error/variety and then get into an argument with the person about why they are not going to hit the lottery with it". How many times have we seen this?

Where have the Experts gone? Again, ask the right question, there are plenty of experts here and all over the internet. Most "experts" will assist you when they can and when they read a thread that they can truly give a definitive answer to. How many times have YOU read a thread and were certain the person that posted right above you gave the wrong information about? why answer a question if you dont know the answer, does that make you look smart? Does it make you feel important? Makes me question every post I ever see from that person again.. Is it a right answer or just some BS they are pulling out to feel smart..

Ok, off my soapbox.. what is an expert?
