Speaking as as newer member, and this is not a criticism. I am here to learn. I try to visit everyday. I try to read every post on each area except paper money. The only paper money I collect is the kind I spend for coins. Sometimes I feel that the topic either does not apply to my area of interest or that I am not qualified to post a response. I have made a few post and replied to others and either got few comments or none. This makes me feel that I am ill equipt to be in this forum. I understand that this is a perception and does not repesent fact, but on the otherhand I could easily feel like my views are not important of not at the level of the experts on this forum. Over time I could lose interest. When I have a work associate who is struggling, I look for any and every opportunity to pat him/her on the back and make them feel needed and part of the team. On some topics presented, members are showing coins which are out of reach fo a lot of people. Kind of like the car magazines which feature articles on $100,000+ cars. Fun to read about, but most will never expierence the ownership. I think we should make everyone feel welcome and when a newer member make a post, no matter how mudane or minor, some of the "Top Guns" should jump in and make a positive comment to encourage the newbies to stay and learn. I notice that a lot of members with high post numbers responded to this post and this is a good sign. I think this is an excellent forum and would hate to see it die. I have learned a lot by keeping 2 ears open and 1 mouth shut.
