Looking at coins I've from my childhood and ran across this. Where did a 10 year old get a coin like this.
Welcome to CT @Silver Rider ! Why, I wouldn't know where a ten year old would get such a thing, except, perhaps if he were an intelligent and precocious ten year old with interesting people around him who meant to pique his curiosity. Or maybe he found it - (with attribution!)
The attribution is mind after the man at the coin shop Got me in the right time frame, I was looking in the 1700s. Started collecting coins when I was 8. Mom worked at a bank and would bring home a $50.00 bag of pennies and we would hunt. At that time you could Indian heads and flying Eagles.
