This site is hopefully for normal people who sincerely like coin collecting and want to be part of an online community of people who can help each other learn and grow. This site has helped me immensely both learn and grow, and actually save money. I have learned that I have been tricked by deceptive photos to buy coins that are essentially screwed up. I have learned that I have screwed up some of my coins, though through good intentions, without the proper knowledge. I have learned that education and caution are of paramount importance to grow a nice collection and preserve. I have learned to try anything I am not familar with on low value coins (acetone, oils, rosethorns, dips, etc) and perfect those techniques before trying on any coin of value. I have learned how to hold a coin, how to store coins, and how to preserve them. I have learned which coins are likely to hold value and which ones could lose. I appreciate this site and those who take the time to contribute to it from their own busy lives. I appreciate Doug, RLM, Jack, Snaz, Condor101, Jim, Peter Davies, Dru, Coinfreek, Zane, and many others including Doug's assistant Spock. Mr. Isaiah- in all sincerity, IMHO you do not appreciate people's help and post here for some attention seeking reasons. Take a moral inventory. :desk::crying::hatch:[/QUOTE]
