This site has helped me immensely both learn and grow, and actually save money. I have learned that I have been tricked by deceptive photos to buy coins that are essentially screwed up. I have learned that I have screwed up some of my coins, though through good intentions, without the proper knowledge. I have learned that education and caution are of paramount importance to grow a nice collection and preserve. I have learned to try anything I am not familar with on low value coins (acetone, oils, rosethorns, dips, etc) and perfect those techniques before trying on any coin of value. I have learned how to hold a coin, how to store coins, and how to preserve them. I have learned which coins are likely to hold value and which ones could lose. I appreciate this site and those who take the time to contribute to it from their own busy lives.
