Mine arrived today, and I didn't even have time to take it out of the sleeve it came in. (But then again I promised a sealed set) :D
Shipped mine out to my buyer, and hopefully he is happy.

if not he'll have to return it and you'll have a shot at selling it for more later.

I just got my 1 set today. I might have been the last guy into the lifeboat on this one. I know I had ordered the set after some posts in here were claiming that the set had sold out so lucky me. It is a very handsome presentation so I am glad I did order it on the spur of the moment.

Chronicles set arrived last week. The LINCOLN ONE CENT PROOF SET is scheduled for arrival on or about Friday.

Got mine today. It is a gorgeous set, and personally, with the 95% copper composition, I can't wait to see some cool toning developing on those four matte proof Lincoln Bicentennial one-year subtype cents, even though the Mint has been playing CYA over it.

Hey, gotta let us know how they turn out....I didn't order any of these as I got more than I can handle in my regular and silver proof sets. :)

Overall they do look pretty nice and I am pleased with getting these. There are some marks in the frosted devices, but none like the marks seen in some pics I posted from my LN6 set. However all such marks have to be seen with magnification. Only criticism is that the portrait on the proof cents lacks much definition/detail, it looks 'soft' or like a weak strike, and again, under magnification, the portrait from the top of the head all the way down to the bottom of the portrait looks flat. I think the Proof cents really make these reverse designs stand out on all four coins, in a way which the unc. coins don't do these little narratives justice.

Green these sets are worth picking up, they're rather inexpensive and plenty of them are out going to be out there, maybe look for one at a show or coin shop in the coming weeks.

My set arrived today (11/06/09) Nice set, if you don't look to closely, I could see some spotting on the pennies with a 10X Loupe hand held in good lighting!! Heavy spotting on the Birthplace Rev. The silver dollar had some shinny spots and abrasions on the nose tip and coat collar!! (NO Pr. 70's here) I'll just keep it for my great grand daughter and also enjoy it for myself! What with all the toning I see, makes you wonder how long ago these coins were punched out or is it just the 95% copper content??

My Proof Sets arrived today. Very nice. I like the idea of packaging just the four proof cents. Though I think they should have done another set with the 4 Proofs and 8 Satin finishes. Would make a nice set to also have the circulation coins.
