When a cent turns into a dime.

At lunch today I found a dime on the floor, heads UP and clearly a dime.
The change I got back had a few cents, upon closer inspection it's also a dime
$0.09 ROI.

I found a dime similar to this in a penny roll! It is always nice to make that $0.09 unexpected profit.

 

Good thing I got a receipt, so I dont have to pay capital gains tax.

 

Playing chess late night with the owner of a news stand. I would roll up the pennies for him between moves and replace the wheaties with non wheat cents. People rushing for the train in the AM and buying the paper would throw the coins into a box.
One dirty looking penny turned out to be a 1919 Merc.
