    Yeah, I might try for a full set, I've got about $60 worth of wheats left to go thru.

    It has been awhile since I have found any wheat before about 1914, I think I found an '09 late in the fall.

    Where on earth did you manage to find coins like that? The last time I got such was when I was a youngster - and that was a long time ago.

    Back 5 or 6 yrs ago there was a company that traveled across the upper mid west (I don't remember the name of it) that would run ads in local papers and set up in a motels and buy coins. I found them on ebay and bought 6 $25 bags of wheats and they've been sitting next to my safe all this time until recently I decided to go thru them.

    I'm still going thru them, that $100 pile above is 4 of those bags that I'm ready to get started on.

    i need some help first time commenting.i have a 1943 wheat penny looked like the real deal copper til i put magnet to it.is there any value in counterfeits?

    Did you pay $25 per bag, or where there $25 face value of cents in each bag?
