That's a nice once. Too bad there is no date showing. Those are more desirable. I have paid about $8.00 - $12.00 for an Off-Center Wheat such as yours.

Well @One...not a stellar way to start off here. People were trying to be helpful and possibly have a bit of fun. Highly recommend that if you plan on staying around, you don't burn bridges. Just a thought.
Id put it on ebay for 50 or 60 bucks. I collect ones with dates and those are hard enough to find under 100 depending on the year and percentage off center. Annnnd the op is gone... and forgotten
I have a question on value. seems to me the clearly seen date ones are worth more money. my question is...with date shown... how far off center are the more desirable ones ? way off center percentage ? 50 % 40% 30 % 20 % ?
I have an out of focus no date wheaty... I was curious to value for an off center wheaty cent ? I did not write it down but I am sure it was around $5-10 ? looks to be in great shape. not sure what grade it is though ?
Mostly what I find is about 10-20% off center with full date. They get pretty scarce past 30% and still show a full date, but not hard to find. There is like a 1951 or something on ebay and all you can see is the date, it's that far off. They were asking a couple hundred bucks I think. The thing is It seems to be more about the date. The earlier the date the more expensive. Grade also plays a part as well sometimes. My 1911 P is 10% off center and graded AU50 by ANACS. I paid $220 about 4 years ago. At the same time there was another 1911 from denver about 10% off center as well they were asking $800. I have about half of the 1940s decade and I think the 1943 was the only one over 100 bucks. The rest I feel I did well on. 1944 is by far the most common year to have been struck off center as far as i can tell. S and D mints are of course more scarce as well. Surprisingly i havent seen as many from the 1950s. As with all pricing of mint errors it can really be a crapshoot. My list so far off the top of my head of off center wheats that I own include 1911, 1917 S, 1918 D, 1919 D, 1926 D (only one I've seen), 1937, 1941, 1943, 1944, 1945, and 1947 S. I just look for off center, i dont have a preference for how far.
