What are Zeus dimes? Do you mean either Winged Liberty or Mercury dimes? Also, nickel is spelled el, not le.

I never thought I would need a website like this one. It appears to be a good one.
Thanks for all the education and help. Members like tommyc03, fish4uinmd, Tyler Graton and wxcoin...I really appreciate ya'll.

others like eddiespin and Mike Thorne, not so much.
It's obvious that I am a noob. Ignorance can be fixed, stupidity can not.
Mike, I am in fact talking about winged liberty dimes. As I have learned, Mercury
is also incorrect but commonly used and accepted.

I hope you enjoy finding out more about coins. No matter how well someone thinks they are educated there's always something more to learn. You're always going to find those in life who have to nitpick everything you say or do. My advice is to ignore them.

Man! I was just reading about key dates and one of them is 1931s.
I have one in good shape. This penny goes somewhere from $100-$185

Be careful with terminology. The adjective "good" refers to a coin which is in pretty awful condition. I suggest becoming familiar with the terms for the various grades and try to start using them.

When grading Lincoln wheat cents look for the amount of wear on the wheat ears on the reverse. Your 1931-S shows a lot of wear as some of the lines are worn down. I'd grade it fine which is a middle circulated grade. It's value to me would be about $75.

That is the CV. Does not mean to say anyone will pay that much for it. CVs are almost always inflated.
