Although some will say it's possible it's from a filled die, I believe the coin has been buffed or altered in the date area. Look at the 'lines' and different surfaces in that area. PMD, IMO
there seems to also be a misprint of sorts on the left back where the lines in the wheat straws meet the leaves. Look at both sides . These straws should be identical or at least similar
p98 does the obv. element look more than later die stage damage than circulation wear? Just wondering
I know that you are new here.. But.. Coins are not printed. They can't have misprints. Paper currency is printed. They are struck.
Aren't you the member that insists on proper spelling? When I use numis. terms with newbies you seem to have something to say about that, when I use layman terms you also seem to have a problem with that also. Cool I will block ALL comments from you and misspell to hearts content.
@tammiGee Just trying to educate you sweetheart. Since you have been on CoinTalk you have stated many incorrect responses on your posts. If you don't know what you are talking about you should not post anything. We need to teach proper mint error terminology. I've been collecting mint errors for 32 years. I have been on CoinTalk way longer than you so I can say what I want when I want because I am the specialist here.. Ok?
I was hoping you were going to say because it’s a free country, or something, not use a holier than thou approach. *eye roll*
