My best cherrypick was a 1904 $20 in an old PCI green label MS62 holder, which I bought around melt price in 2003-ish (Around $400 at the time). Cracked it out, submitted it to PCGS, and it came back MS64. (Which made it around a $1,600 coin at time time, if I remember correctly). I sold it somewhere in the $1,200 range, so I essentially tripled my money.

I've had a few other cheap cherrypicks I got for less than ten bucks that ended up being multi-hundred-dollar coins, but I think the PCI-to-PCGS upgrade on that $20 Lib was the best cherrypick for me in terms of actual dollar value realized.
