What's your biggest coin "home run?"

I submitted a bunch of common date rosies to PCGS, made a top pop coin and a few that were one step down from top pops. Sold them all at the FUN show. Total investment: $135 TotalProfit: $1740

I also once bought a $500 Star note from a local pawn shop. I paid $800 or so, sold it to another dealer a few days later for $2500.

I bought a house built in 1912, my wife and I were remodeling a bedroom. I removed the original baseboard and my wife found an Indian Head Cent. She ask whats an 1864 penny worth? I replied there are a couple different varieties so it depends.

Long story short it turned out to be a 64 with L in xf condition.

 

In 1995 I bought the gold set with the silver eagle. Could have sold it years ago and made a nice profit. Still worth a nice sum.
