What's up with this 1929 penny?

    Are the bumps on the front and holes on the back due to air bubbles when it was made? Any input?

    Someone punched holes on the Reverse and affected the corresponding areas on the Obverse :yack:

    When someone smacks the backside of a coin with a punch, it pushes the metal out on the other side.
