I see tons of 78cc in gsa at shows both hard & soft. And lots of vam 11's in them. If anyone can find a 78cc gsa with a vam 15 in it I know a guy that will make you a strong offer
I have the 78, 81, 82, 83, 84, 90 and 91. I have probably looked at three dozen 85s but haven't liked one enough to pull the trigger. For me, it's been the same thing with the 80
Here's my 80. It was a gift from my step-dad when I was about 13 or so. Really my first coin. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm a guessing that, your geographic longamatude, plays into that, here in the sticks I see about 8-10 '85cc to every 1 '78cc as a rough guesstimation. Those aren't coins I actively seek and/or surf the net for either. I attend mostly smaller shows but some of the dealers there travel all across the sea board. Seems like the '78s I DO see, the cheeks are all scuffed up... as well
That's nice...because of the sentimental value...which you can't put a price on...and something you might want to get graded. I really like the 80/79 VAM4, can't explain why, I just do.
I would say that a really nice, problem free NGC graded GSA 80CC should sell for about $1000-1200, as that date is really spiking in price recently. That would be for a graded NGC ribboned GSA.
Yeah I know I had my dad text them to me. Anyways he's bringing it when he comes to visit for thanksgiving. I'm going to send them to NGC for grading. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
