What's the oldest coin you've found at the time? (in a roll, sidewalk, etc?)

Nice Canadian! Two days ago I got a 1967 half at the bank; but they made me buy $100 of labeled "Kennedy Halves". There was not a single coin more recent than 1976, and every coin, except the '67 was green & slightly corroded. It was like they were kept near salt water or something.

Jesus I gotta stop reading all previous posts. Because by the time I get to enter my info I'm like, this is gonna sound SO lame now! Lol
I'm still pretty new to coins. Only like 4 months now. Oldest Cent WAS 1938. Didn't take long to make next oldest a 1926, then a 1920, a 1918, WELL WORN!
And now as of 9:30 pm this 9th day of April 2019 I found, opening a box of Cents, my oldest coin ever. A 1910 P Wheatie! But this from a guy who still gets a lil excited when he comes across am "S" MM! LOL 0409192041-2.jpg 1910Reverse.jpg

Found this coin roll hunting from a bank box. As a kid I used too find lots of Indian head cents but I don’t remember the oldest date. This was in the sixties and seventies. Unfortunately my mother threw out my childhood collections of baseball cards, stamps and coins. We don’t talk much.

Eric closer inspection it was a Silver 1849 Dutch Quarter. It had been passed around with pennies so long it was copper colored. Still have it.
