Quite correct. It's .999 Silver, weighing in at 3 Troy ounces. It's a beast . . . . . Ron Landis actually. Here is a link to the site. Click the LOAD MORE button at the bottom. https://www.landisstudios.net/art-medals?page=2 Correct. Slightly antiqued paired with really crappy lighting and cameras that I use. Many of my images tend to come out a bit green I am told. I have a slight problem with color blindness, so I really don't see the green. Ron is quite good at adapting ancient designs to his modern pieces. He uses very old minting techniques - screw presses, heated irregular silver cobs, etc.
Here is another behemoth silver piece of Ron's that I own. It's titled . . . . . . Steampunk Anglerfish
This is my favorite "ancient design" by Landis. Most of his interpretations are "uniface" with the ancient design on the obverse and his trademark punches on the reverse. This one, titled Owl / Minerva is one of the very few pieces he does that has his engraved images on both sides. https://www.landisstudios.net/product-page/minerva
Here is kind of a "family portrait" of a few of his works that I've been fortunate enough to acquire . . . . . . Z
