I have a $100 bill Series 1969, the serial number is L02706546A. I've kept it because I thought it might be worth more than $100 because of its age. Am I mistaken? It's an L bill from San Francisco (12).

I appreciate your help, thank you. Happy holidays/Merry Christmas!

I spent one similar to it yesterday to renew my car registration. Nothing special about the serial number IMO. Spender in my book.
Merry Christmas, buy yourself a treat.

Walmart Spender, even if the serial number was fancy, the condition would
    make it undesirable.

It's around $100. You may get someone to go 101 or 102. Without the rip it's a maximum of $105. The rip kills it. The longer you hold it the value decreases due to inflation. i.e. you hold that bill for 20 years. Now, you can sell it even with the rip for $105. $100 today is worth much more in buying power than $105 in 20 years.
