I see this question asked more than any other question so I would like to start a What's it worth forum just for the ones asking what their bill or coin is worth ... If anyone has a question about any part of their collection in regards to value please help someone with an answer to the best of your knowledge ... I will go first with What is my crisp new 2009 $100 star note ... It's in prestine condition and the serial number is JK 00462703 and is out of a print run of 640,000 ... Any idea of what it's worth ?
Huh? You want to start a What’s it Worth forum in an already existing What’s it Worth Forum? Is it like that movie inception?
One of the most major problems is condition. And a "proper" description of that. Those that do not know much about grading seem unable to accurately describe their item. Their cursory "pristine condition" description usually is with stains, creases or scratches, dents & dings, etc. Which is far from "pristine". Thus the reason pictures are really needed for any initial evaluation.
I will just create a macro to reply every time with the same answer... "It's not rare, it's not an error, it's damaged and worth just face value" I'll be right 99.44% of the time...
To me it's $100. It's a modern replacement note that you got for $100 but you think you are entitled to more than $100? To me it has to be old, rare, fancy serial number and or have an error to be worth more than face value. These $100 star notes come out of the ATM every day. Spend it.
No idea just assumed since $20 doesn't buy anything anymore. I had a card from 1980-1992. Once I saw a monthly charge on my bank statement I went in and canceled my ATM card and haven't had one since. So you get the 100's at the drive thru, whatever. When they give me 100's I send them back and get 50's and 20's. What am I a coke dealer? What the hell am I going to do with a bunch of 100's? You always have to break them somewhere and they aren't always thrilled when you take all of their smaller bills.
I have a 2013 $20 bill. Serial number MC 94999949 E. No folds, stains, wrinkles, just like fresh off the roll but cut. Any ideas on what it is exactly n how much possibly?
Most likely it's a $20 bill PS it's also considered really bad form to hijack a thread on a completely unrelated matter with your own question. Start a new thread with a good title and maybe somebody will answer it.
Please start a new thread with photos on both sides for better answers. Since you're new I will say it's a binary radar note as the serial numbers read the same forwards and backwards and there are only 2 numbers used, the 9 and the 4.
