Whats it worth 1966 no mint mark with strange circle of mark

    Hey hoop, it didn't look harsh to me. Remember you prefaced it with " I'm not trying to be rude...", so I think that poster got your intent and is not bothered at all. I know I wouldn't be.

    But back to the marks, I suggested a can opener (now I'm saying an ELECTRIC can opener) and others tried one and got similar marks.

    The marks from rolling machines are usually more of a circular "scrapey smear", if that makes sense.

    However, only the person who did it is sure of how it was done.
