Ebay is a bad option for a lot of high end coins that leaves you with auction houses like Heritage that take a huge chunk of your selling price. Sure Gold and Silver pawn is likely at best only to give you %75 of retail but your not going to do much better with Heritage after there fees. Plus a lot of consumer walk in with inherited items not knowing what they have. If its valuable enough your going to get a free appraisal of the item and can always say no and try and sell it on your own.</p><p><br /></p><p>That being said there is no sure fire coin to purchase that will guarantee you a huge profit in x amount of years. If your going to collect coins collect them as a hobby with the added bonus of them being an investment. Do not buy them as an investment you will not be happy in the long run that way.
