I add the shipping to the coin cost. Ebay may be the only place that does cents (?). Most auction houses that I can think of only do dollar amounts. So to answer you, I'd say $54
For me personally, just like in business, I have a Fully Loaded Landed Cost: Cost of Coin, Customs, Duties, Freight/Shipping, Auction costs, and any costs associated with getting the coin, etc. etc. are loaded into the Cost. If you were a Coin Dealer, those costs would be on the coin to determine its profit should you sell it.
Thanks. I do think in terms of that for myself, but was not sure it was applied here. To me, cost of s/h is included in what I paid.
I include the shipping cost when cataloging what I paid for each coin but in this series of threads I did not include shipping but did include buyers fee. The reason is that our members live all over the world and depending on where you live the shipping can vary wildly. For instance telling a new member how much it costs to ship a coin from Zurich to Missouri when they live in, say, Geneva wouldn't be all that helpful to them.
For accuracy's sake, all costs and fees should be added to the price you paid for the coin (including shipping).
