And, it was in very nice condition and had not been redone since probably 1900-1920 or so.</p><p><br /></p><p>I owned the sofa for probably four or five years and it sat in my living room. While moving furniture one day I busted the leg. I flipped the couch over to make a repair (which as it turns out was not the first repair on the leg of a couch that had seen over 150 years of use!) and I noticed what appeared to be baseball cards inside the couch!</p><p><br /></p><p>I must have agonized over whether or not to tear open the bottom of the couch for all of about, hmmm..., maybe 2 seconds. I busted it open (in a kind fashion of course) and if memory serves me right I pulled out maybe five or six baseball cards. All of which were over 50 years old. None turned out to be terribly valuable, and I wish I had written down the players name, but it was an exciting moment that I enjoyed sharing with my son at the time![/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
