I am looking to understand what year the Indian date of ND-19 equates to in our calendar?
Can anyone advise me on this or where I can go to find out, please?
    Thank-you.

I always thought ND stood for "No Date". Not sure what the 19 would be for. What kind of coin are you researching?

Found it: ND//19 would equate to 1734

The change in calendars in 1752 was essentially 19 years after 1734 ... is that what ND-19 means (new date minus 19 years)?

That would make sense. Except they could not put a date on the coin indicating it was issued 19 years in the past;). It would have to be a reference date only.
