I think the fact that it is a scan may account for the color and apparent lack of luster.

Yep they do , if you can find a MS 65 RD (PCGS) at $500, it would be a good deal.

    Snaz,

That was a 65 RD I sold Harry. Do your homework, keep in mind 65 RED, not RB or 64 snaz.........

I would buy roll quantity at the price you quoted:smile

It is true, they have dropped, but not to the extent you mentioned. Find a gem, true 65RD is a task, not a difficult task, but a task. Pass over the MANY 64ish and RB coins...........

As usual HarryJ, I stand behind my coins.... you not happy? Either am I, you get $ back........zero questions, full refund, shipping included.:smile

Apparently you did not read my post completely. That one is not for sale.

    Thanks Harry.

As I remember, I called that coin " all there". It is. I will proudly buy it back. And yes, I know it is not for sale:goofer:

I know I know. I went through my "1931S folder" shortly after I made a fool of myself. The folder is looking fairly empty compared to the other dates. I'll have to hunt down some more pics online and hide them until next time.

I would still say the coin is suspect in a few aspects. I would defer any further opinion to coppercoins. The original posted coin, I am speaking about.
