They're pretty lenient with GSAs that one may get a 64 and looks prooflike is a possibility too.

I say 63. As someone else said GSA holders get an extra boost so you may get a 64.

Definitely! Do you own it? Does it look PL in hand if so?

I don't plan on grading it. It's something I need to sell. It's either this one, the 1880, 81, or the 1885.

If the 78 has potential for a 64PL then I should keep her and offload another date.

The mirrors are pretty good on the coin. Light haze but nothing I can do about it.

    Its very close.
Its almost impossible to judge if a coin is PL or not without seeing in-hand.
The mirrors may also be distorted on account of the GSA plastic

Unless some of those abrasions are on the holder, MS-62 semi PL.

Good to know I'm not alone... 63 maybe, but even that's pushing it imo, at least based upon what I can see. I realize things have changed over the years, but I can't help but to think my mentors must be rolling in their graves over the leniency afforded to many coins today.

I can see NGC giving this a 63 with a slight chance at 64 on a good day. As for PL, I'd have to see it in hand, usually it's easier to guess PL from images, if there is a chance of it going DPL. But, guessing between semi-PL and PL is almost impossible from images.
