I don't think you'd appreciate receiving coins you purchased with tape on them. I also don't think that when you message the seller to let them know they shouldn't have used tape and it can ruin coins (because it can, regardless of whether people want to pretend an UNC coin with tape on its face is still UNC) and get a nasty reply that you would be happy with that either. And yes, the seller did something that now causes me extra work that I should not have to do. I wouldn't have bid the amount I did had I known they were going to come wrapped in tape. Just because I got the coins for lower than melt does not make me the bad guy. My actual bid was pretty fair and it just so happened no one else bid at the end. That's the joy and pain of eBay.

Also, I never used the word terrible (did I? I don't remember using it to describe his actions). You seem to have this nasty image of ebay buyers and their mindsets. What frustrated me most was his flippant reply that said "I don't have time for you, you got your coins, the end". Had he given me anything other than a rude response, I wouldn't have even bothered to post the question in the first place. My question was based on his crappy customer service, not the coins having tape (yet everyone wants to focus on the tape for some reason). The tape was an annoyance and something I felt worthy of contacting the seller about because if he tapes all his coins, he's going to have problems.

Please reference my comment a page ago on what I actually rated the seller and the analogy I provided with the burger. I think it'll give you a little insight. Also, please stop taking your personal frustrations out on me. I am not the buyer who screwed your eBay ratings and thus got you so angry that you keep pestering me over tape when I'm frustrated about poor customer service. You're clearly projecting here and it's bordering harassment. For me, I don't think there's any need to continue this because I'm happy to agree to disagree and stop a needless discussion.

Have a great day.
