And if you get tired of looking at that one, here's another. 20151008_150926-1.jpg

Weird. I've never noticed the flame before on these. Nice find!

    Wow! I didn't either until you.mentioned it.

Actually I wish I had a clearer picture of the first one. There are extra flame tips between what should be there. The second one has an extra long or added to tip under the O. The third is or appears to be doubled with the flame actually touching the S in States. And last but not least, they are different styles. Thought there were only 2.

No, but with that type of well thought out answer, the label could very well stick to the sender.

What do you usually call something that appears "flat and shelf-like"?

A platform? Actually if any of these had that appearance I wouldn't have posted them. Looking at the first picture that I posted, between the second and third flame tip from the left, is a totally different tip. No amount of machine doubling can produce that one without distorting the rest of the torch.

In the second picture the second flame tip from the left is extended above the base of the S and O. Maybe its a die chip, crack, or doubled to the north, whatever it is, it isn't normal.

You are going to have to post clearer, larger files for us to review before any decision regarding these can be made. It's not difficult.
