I hope she comes with a pace maker for your sake Jerry That be a shame to find out that for the deluxe model upgrade including the pace maker/ defibrillator would of run ya $1100.
I'll stick with my wife of 45 years (52 with the wind chill) and get the nicest slabbed MS 63 Indian gold eagle I could for the 1K. Steve
That part where you said you'd trade $1000 for a 2009 nickel, I'll trade ya, let me dig through the cup holder in my car and find one.
to easy... part 1 payment on a German States/Baden thaler in MS-62 total being $1,500. ok if I cannot do payments... then a 5 dollar gold indian worth a $1,000.
I can't believe you guys went so far off the rails - on page 1, already. Oh, wait, yes I can. @okbustchaser, love that coin. This is what I'm hoping for - a post that makes me want that coin!
I'd probably blow it on an 1824 quarter. It's the most expensive date of its series that normal people can hope to own (I'm lookin' at you 1823 and 1827!!).
With that much of a windfall, I would not spend it on coins. My 2005 Colorado is going to need a paint job next year so that's where my money would go. On the other hand, I won $100.00 yesterday on a scratch ticket, that is going into the kitty towards my last cent purchase...1909 VDBS.
Good luck trying to find a 2009p nickel that easily. Also, I'd use the change left over from my purchase to get more coins to search through, then buy more type coins.
Ohhhhh no, you don't get no change! You said you'd buy a 2009 nickel if you had a $1000 to spend. I'm gonna go find that 2009 Nick-nack and I I'll be expecting payment in full, now I just hafta get my slippers on and go out to the car.
I'd get probably some unique gold pieces. Russian 5 Ruble, Columbian 5 pesos, And South Africa 1962 1 rand
