Back in my days working in a truck stop I bought a few coins here and there from customers. Mostly on the midnight shift - now go figure. Generally from fine people as well. Go to a truck stop in Gary, IN at 3am and you'll know what I'm talking about. When I became the manager (no longer worked midnights) I came in one day and the midnight guy had bought a fairly complete set of Walkers for 75 cents per coin. I doubled his money immediately and still have the 38-D. I also got to know one customer that was into paper money. I arranged to meet him in our "laudry room" one afternoon and bought a bunch of web notes from him. I also used to sell to one of the owner of one trucking company. When you could still get an occasional fresh pack of the old (small head) design five and ten dollar notes I'd buy as much as I could afford at face. He'd buy $100 face for $110. Looking at a lot of cash is the only thing I miss about that job.
