    But if it were a DD it would show in the Triangle part of the A as well right?

    Check the year and mintmark, then go to one of the sites to compare it to the known ddrs for that year.
    Nobody will be able to tell you anything more without seeing the coin clearly, front and back. Good luck!

    Mr. P. asked to let you know that it isn't necessary to identify it as "no mintmark" because it should be taken for granted that it was struck in Philly. The only Lincoln cents with a mintmark are those struck in Denver or San Francisco. ~ Chris

    But in the year 2017 the Philadelphia Mint did use the P mint mark. First and only time they will do that. ;)

    I think your coin has Machine Doubling, flat and shelf-like and reduces the size of the design element.
