I wouldn't be too wary. I've been selling on eBay for a little while and while I do receive the occasional semi-incomprehensible message from one of my bidders, the vast majority of transactions are completely problem-free. I don't have much to contribute to this thread, but this is a message I got from a buyer who hadn't paid for a coin 2 weeks after the sale. "HI, I HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN YOU. I ALWAYS PAY, I MAY BE SLOW BUT I'LL GET IT DONE. I HAVEN'T SOLD ENOUGH PENCILS YET TO GET THE MONEY!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE!!......DAN." I think it was about a $5 coin, so hopefully he didn't have to sell too many pencils to reach that sum.
