In fact if you went back far enough into the forum archives you&#039;d find a very similar discussion to this one about 5 or 6 years ago. And even back then ebay was more often than not more expensive than other places.</p><p><br /></p><p>The purpose of my comments Paul are to show people that, to make them aware. Unlike you, I could care less about proving you wrong. What I care about is other people, other collectors, who have the mistaken impression that they can get the best deals on ebay - as a general rule. </p><p><br /></p><p>And even you will agree, that unless a collector really knows his coins, ebay is like walking through a mine field with a blindfold on. There are better places, and less expensive places, for a collector to buy coins than ebay - far better. And people deserve to know that.
