If Kitty used a credit card, you can dispute the charge with the credit card company. The item is defective and they won't replace it unless you pay more than it's worth in return postage.

 

A whole lot of individuals here at C T are getting very tired of this childish chat being put forth by “Cat” chatting as in 3rd form. It certainly is boring, extremely immature content and at times degrading to those of us at C T that will not lower our intellect ability to a “Cats” so called perspectives, comments, ideas!

Mine was fine. Also, did anyone catch the US Mint springing another coin & currency set with the rocketship coins and separate but matching currency ($2 bill)?

 

Wow! Chill out please, this is not a government sponsored counter intelligence chat room, it is collectors with all their idiosyncracies, most of whom have quite a bit of positive knowledge concerning coins. I, for one, do not mind any of these collectors who may seem a bit weird because they increase my knowledge of coin collecting every time they contribute.

 

You are lucky. Meow is going to send them back reluctantly.
Meow did get a rocket ship bill. It was not very impressive at all. A flimsy envelope with a colorful card. Seemed way over priced. Now the C&C sets are a way better deal, if you can get a non defective one.

 

Lets see, was it 15.95 apiece now? So Meow will get a small flat rate box for 7.95 tomorrow and send them back. That is the best that can be done. NOW, if this was fleabay or Amazon, one would be getting them for free, or paid postage return. Those two entities try very hard to earn your business. The US Mint could care less it seems. Now if Meow asks them to be replaced, and they come back just as bad; Meow may pull all the fur out of this Cats furry little head, and go with the your credit card solution.

If you read all the posts in this thread you would know that the bills in question are glued in place; The wrong place.

 

I just got off the phone with the people at the mint. They are issuing return shipping labels for these. Just call them up and they will email you one.

 

Or, just throw it in the cat box......
