What the Heck are These?

    Someone emailed me these pictures. Any thoughts on country of origin and value? My guess is they are the product of a beach metal detector. Spanish? Please see the attached photos.

    I see enough detail to tell they are Spanish colonial in the date range 1772-1822. The mint and assayer marks are obscured on the one that has some clarity so I can't tell from what country.

    Is there any market for coins like these or are they too corroded to have any collector value?

    If these turned out to be shipwreck they’re worth a lot in chunks like that.
