At the time my father had a motorcycle and all sorts of chrome polish lying around.&nbsp; I had the bright idea&nbsp; to polish all the silver coins that were left to me including a 1921 high relief Peace Dollar!&nbsp; Then I stored them in zip-lock baggies and I had them all shoved into a Pringles can.</p><p><br /></p><p>A few years later I was a cashier and found an interesting coin in change that I couldn&#039;t identify.&nbsp; I ended up searching for it on the internet until I found this forum.&nbsp; I had my answer within a few hours and decided to hang out.&nbsp; Eventually I learned a great deal about coins and coin collecting from the forums and was able to put together a pretty decent collection for myself.&nbsp; I also learned how to properly handle and store coins.&nbsp; I still can&#039;t believe how stupid I was about spending money into circulation and polishing coins.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
