I agree, but if I can make more money, I can buy more coins. And I spend every cent on coins (minus money for crickets and the occasional parakeet toy)
I'm afraid I have to ask this but you represent yourself as a "collector of all coins". Hey, making money is great especially at your age but seriously WHAT DO YOU COLLECT?
No need to get snippy. I collect IHC, Lincolns, V nickels, Buffs, Jeffs, Mercs, Roosevelts, Washingtons, state quarters, Franklins, Kennedys, Ikes, SBA, foreign, modern comm., and a type set. Does that answer you question?
he collects coins Clem crickets? Hamman. Do you chocolate coat them or is their a nasty critter at your house that eats them?...and dont say Colin..lol
Yes it does and thank you for answering my legit question. As for being snippy I don't think so. Am I sarcastic - without a doubt and this question wasn't even sarcastic - just a question. I REALLY wanted to know. Never assume as it makes an ass of u and me. clembo
hamman88 I don't think that clembo was being snippy, he was interested in your collection, in order to properly asnwer the question. Why say JFK if you only want Lincoln cents?
I am not exactly sure what your definition of "quick turn around" is, but the general comments I am hearing are that the Lincolns should rise when the new designs hit the market in 2009. Red Lincolns carry a nice premium and I would expect to be the biggest gainers. As to which coin, I would look at the 09-S because high grades are affordable and it is the first year, or a 1923-S (if you can find one (there are only 116 coins graded red by NGC and PCGS). A personal favorite of mine is the 1917 because that year has so much more detail then any other year I have seen, but I doubt that the details will mean that it appreciates more that the rest.
OK, I may have asked this before... but what is a circ 32-D worth nowadays. I have one in a solid Fine and was just curious.

I'll keep that in mind, someone posted a picture on here a while ago with a lincoln that looked like it was struck with 10000 tons, every since that it's been in the back of my head that I need one. Any one have that pic?
BTW I believe my 1917 has more detail despite my pictures. Look at Heritage pictures for both the 1916 and 1917. Although the 1916 coins have great detail, imho the 1917 have much more.
Around here you can get a nice circulated one (raw mostly...but some slabbed) for about $140-$175 each. I bought a few at $90-$140 each but now have sold them all. Speedy
Coin World Trends: Fine-12= $250. Amazing isn't it! I remember when they couldn't give them away for $32.50 in Good or VG.
