What Should CoinTalk Get for Christmas?

The classified ad system would be quite interesting and would afford those who have items to sell, trade, or purchase a place to go and find what they want. But please what ever you do make it simple so an old guy like me can figure it out and make it work, without meeding to call my granddaughter in to show me how it's done.
Oh and by the way, I''m still not able to open those same pics that I was able to open before the last change. any help on these lines?

Hey OldDan...sometimes if it won't show me a photo I sign out (log out) and go back to the same page...then it works.
I don't know if its a kind of spam blocker I have or what...

Thank you Speedy, the next time one of them comes up, I'll try that little trick of yours and see if it will work for me.

I'm still betting that Peter will get it figured out one of these days and things will get back to what they were at one time.

 

Some of us already fullfill this function just by giving our opinions. Who would qualify a grading panel? Who is an expert? Different coins need experts in that particular series. I consider myself a pretty good grader in all US coins.
I consider myself an expert grader in Morgan dollars. That said, I am sure that, everytime I give an opinion regarding Morgan dollars that someone else will will have another opinion. Who is to say that my opinion trumps theirs?
You must also consider photo manipulation. I can take a pic of a Morgan dollar, and depending on how I choose to present it, you can`t tell if it is an AU58 or an MS65 DMPL by the pic. Unless I want you to.
The last consideration is, **** poor pics. Many, if not most, pics presented here for our grading opinion, leave much to be desired.


I wish we could have a grading panel here, if only to save our fellow collectors here from wasting money to submit "wishfull thinking" coins to the TPG`s. There is no way to implement this.

I believe we have the best possible alternative as it is. Us. We will always do our best to give our opinions, and tell you why. I may not be here every day (or every month for that matter) but someone will. Usually a bunch will.

Personally, I will try to be here more often than I have been latly. I love answering questions, and giving opinions.
