What shaped you into the collector you are?

I didn't know what it was, but the mystery of it was pretty cool. I acquired a 1907D 50C in PCGS in VF25 in May of last year, and immediately I was hooked on Barber coins. I have since narrowed it down to Barber 50c and now Seated 50c coins too.
