We are a diverse lot from different backgrounds and an array of interesting professions with even more interesting hobbies. What surprised me in the 'Who are you' thread is that there are lots of collectors in the age range of 30 to 60. I would expect that especially with collectors of ancient coins the medium age would be higher, but I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of young people I saw. This means that the future of coin collecting is looking good. I am also younger that you think. The 'Only a Poor Old Man' refers to a classic Scrooge McDuck comicbook story by Carl Barks.

So I figured that we may have interesting tastes in music too. The good thing about this kind of thread is that can be a goldmine of musical information and may open our eyes to genres of music we didn't know exist. The popular music that somebody finds on the TV and radio nowdays represent only a tiny percentage of the wonderful music there is out there. Share your musical tastes please. It doesn't matter if it is mainstream or unique, somebody will probably appreciate it either way.

Let me make a start. I am a metalhead. I like metal and heavy rock and love music that incorporates technical guitar and bass elements. Lately I came to love the fusion of traditional and modern instruments with a rock twist.
