    It would be psd, post strike damage.

    That's why I don't use the term PMD. People call it Post Mint Damage but it originally was Post MINTING Damage. When you use Post Mint Damage you get people trying to speculate (or even claim) that the damage happened before it left the Mint so it is a mint error.

    The proper term is Post Strike Damage (PSD) which indicates the damage occurred after the coin was struck (and anything that happens after striking is just damage) and it doesn't matter where the coin was when the damage occurred.
