    I don't really dabble much in foreign coins and I got this in my change today so could someone please tell me what this foreign coin is

    Looks like a 5 Centavo from Ecuador dated 2000

    Thank you for the info I appreciate it like I said I don't dabble much in foreign coins so my knowledge on such coins is limited

    Ecuador is a country in South America.
    It's a Latin American coin.

    Most likely a tourist from Ecuador spent it here in the US (misxed it in with their change) and it ended up in your change.
