I love french coins, some are beautiful. Would love to own the second one but skimming on ebay over the past few months for one and they are a bit pricey for good ones.

Agreed. The more I see French coinage the more I like French coinage. They seem to have a wealth of attractive designs, at least before the adoption of the euro.

I don't have very many world coins other then Canadian stuff and this would have to be my favorite because of its toning. Looks beautiful in hand with its gold tone.
Great great gramdpa coin This one that was not taken by the guards at Ellis Island .when my great great grandpa came too the USA.it been a pocket piece for my Dad and his Dad to. plus it has a clash under the chin too
