    I love them all but....

I'm a Two Cent Junkie and rehab hasn't worked.
I've got five circulation strke sets from small motto through 1872.
Second would be Three Cent Silvers
    Third is Twenty Cent Pieces
    Fourth Half Cents
    Fifth Flying Eagle Cents

That's really a good question for us people that just plain love coins.

    BUFFALO NICKEL!

To my eye, no other coin says "America" like this coin does. I like the way the fields are covered with the devices (the Indian Head and the large date on the obverse; the buffalo and the mound on the reverse). I also like the roughness of the fields.

The American Indian portrait has a striking "proudness" to it and the overall design has a complete, yet uncluttered, appearance.

This nickel design is iconic and just about everyone has heard of it. Even those who haven't heard of a "Buffalo Nickel" are interested when you say the name.

There are certainly some beautifully designed coins (Standing Liberty Quarters, Walking Liberty Halves and Mercury Dimes are among my favorites), but the Buffalo Nickel wins... hands down.

Great thread - tough call. Man, I really love all 3 denoms of Indian gold...

Basically, America hit some big Home Runs with any series starting in the early 20th century. All beautiful. I love 'em all.
