What is your favorite Series of Small Size Fed Reserve Notes and Why?

I am actively looking (and have been bidding, but loosing) on my next acquisition in this area, a $1 Series 1917 note (Fr 36-39). Just one will do. Must be graded, 53 to 63 is my estimated range, lower if it's a star and bright EPQ/PPQ paper. I can dream about adding the large size LT $5, $10 and so on... one of each denomination, but their prices, even in lower grades, start to get pretty scarey, real fast.</p><p><br /></p><p>Exercising restraint in the va$tne$$ of U.S. Paper Money is difficult to do, even if one's budget forces you to into fewer areas of collecting. As always I appreciate the help and suggestions you have given through this forum, Rick.
