View attachment 410667 I found this coin in a roll of wheats I purchased . There is some type of problem with the rim. Also the center of the reverse is sunk in a little.
It was Encased. A lot of Wheat Cents were encased for different reasons back then. Such as this good luck charm. It was pressed around the rim so hard it would change the appearance of the Cent when removed. Do a Google search for Encased Cents!
