    Those are nice, clear pictures, Chucky. Can I see one in that quality of the edge? Just hold it sideways.

    I'm so sorry, I thought I clicked on coin errors my apologies and yes I'll take a pic, but can you show me an example of what you'd like to see? How to hold the coin?

    Just take a shot of the edge, I want to see if it was encased. There's no special way to hold it.

    To answer the original question, it is a form of die deterioration. Not an error, just a worn die.
