What is this type of holder?

I'm curious about this Morgan in what looks like perhaps a display case. Can anyone tell me any background on coins sealed like this? Beautiful toned coin too 1904-O Morgan.

I'm unfamiliar with the outer frame, but airtites can be purchased for the silver dollar from several sources.
