What is this Coin exactly!?

    Egypt?
    1/2 something?

    All I can verify is that this is in Arabic. The obverse says 1917, the reverse says 1/2 something. I would swear it's Egyptian but I can't find it in any catalog. I'm guessing it's a token.

    Can you provide more information like the coin size and weight? Do you have a guess as to what it's made out of? Is it magnetic?

    Game counter in the style of a coins of the king Fuad I (1922-1936). But with the wrong date "1917". It is the parody on 1/2 millieme (KM#343).

    I wonder why doesn't it figure the Hegira date, like all Egyptian coins of that period?
