    In Krause, 4 years ago, most of the common dates (this is one) cataloged about $30 in VG and about $50 in fine. That's just an estimate. "L" is the Bayonne mint, and it's Type #694.9

    edit/ And $95 in very fine.

    probably VF. if there were not as many hits by his cheek and mouth I am guessing this coin could go XF. wait for more experienced opinions. cool coin by the way.

    VF-XF. I could easily see it selling for $100, except the heavy marks will likely cause some discounting. I'm no expert, but I kind of watch coins like this, so... my humble opinion.
