What is the story behind you avatar coin?

Mine was a gift from my Aunt & Uncle who came back from a vacation with it in 1994. Gave it to me as a gift.

It's a 1 oz. silver commemorative, minted from the silver bullion that was brought up from a Spanish Galleon called the Atocha, that sank in a storm off the coast of Florida, in 1622. It was a neat idea, I really like the design and I'm in to commemoratives.

I change mine every so often, but right now it is the reverse of an 1870 $3 gold that I bought after I got back from a deployment to the desert

 

Mine is a Roman silver denarius of Maximinus I (235-238 AD),
who was supposedly 8' tall.

Otherwise known as "Big Max".

A reminder of the sixty's or an S mint cent that was minted during an earthquake!!

Mines a 1917 type 1 SLQ FH , it's a coin I always wanted for its beauty and it was the year my dad was born .
